We were fortunate enough to witness these amazing, kind individuals providing medical support to the coffee pickers in Tarrazú, Costa Rica. 

​

Hundreds of coffee pickers and their families queued to visit these medical staff, who provided anyone who would visit with medical advice, procedures, clothes and toothbrushes. 

​

They did this for five days to ensure that all areas of the vast estate were visited. Over 400 people were treated and each patient was given a toothbrush and donated clothes.

​

All of this was made available to the pickers completely for free. In most cases these visits are the only medical care that these pickers receive. 

​

Greenbeans Project is proud to support this initiative as we have seen first hand the benefit that they provide to these individuals. They have been visiting each year since 2014 and every trip is funded by donations to their local church.
